  • We typically take on projects within the Grand Traverse Region but a broader Northern Michigan area may be considered.

  • We limit the number of projects worked on simultaneously. It’s common to have a 4-6 month lead time however, projects often change and we encourage you to ask for our availability.

  • We prioritize new construction homes with a modern aesthetic. Renovation work is typically not considered unless it’s a sizable scope of work.

  • Every project is different but Northerly typically charges an hourly rate. You can expect upwards of 8% of total construction cost (industry standard) to be dedicated to architecture fees.

  • We have 40+ years cumulative experience in design and construction, are AIA Licensed and Associate AIA members, and hold LEED AP accreditation.

  • We use a combination of Revit and Twinmotion for the majority of our work. We offer coordination with the majority of professional software.
